سورة المؤمنون
Surah Name: Al-Mominun Meaning: The Believers
|
وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ Wahuwa allathee anshaa lakumu a(l)ssamAAa wa(a)labsara wa(a)lafidata qaleelan ma tashkuroon(a) And He-SWT it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts; little thanks you return! (23:78) |
وَهُوَ الَّذِي ذَرَأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ Wahuwa allathee tharaakum fee alardi wailayhi tuhsharoon(a) And He-SWT it is Who spread you on the earth and to Him-SWT you will be gathered. (23:79) |
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ Wahuwa allathee yuhyee wayumeetu walahu ikhtilafu allayli wa(al)nnahari afala taAAqiloon(a) And He-SWT it is Who gives life and causes to die, and His-SWT is the alternation of night and day; will you not then reflect? (23:80) |
بَلْ قَالُوا مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ الْأَوَّلُونَ Bal qaloo mithla ma qala alawwaloon(a) Aye! They say the like of what the ancients said. (23:81) |
قَالُوا أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ Qaloo aitha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman ainna lamabAAoothoon(a) They say: When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be raised up indeed? (23:82) |
لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا هَذَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ Laqad wuAAidna nahnu waabaona hatha min qablu in hatha illa asateeru alawwaleen(a) Certainly this we have been promised, we and our fathers before; but nothing is this but the fables of the ancients (23:83) |
قُل لِّمَنِ الْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهَا إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ Qul limani alardu waman feeha in kuntum taAAlamoon(a) Say you-SW: Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? (23:84) |
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ Sayaqooloona lillahi qul afala tathakkaroon(a) They will surely say: Allah-SWT . Say you-SW: Will you not then heed? (23:85) |
قُلْ مَن رَّبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ Qul man rabbu a(l)ssamawati a(l)ssabAAi warabbu alAAarshi alAAatheem(i) Say you-SW: Who is Rabb-SWT of the seven heavens and Rabb-SWT of the Mighty Throne? (23:86) |
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ Sayaqooloona lillahi qul afala tattaqoon(a) They will certainly say: Allah-SWT . Say you-SW: Will you not then be God-fearing? (23:87) |
Qul man biyadihi malakootu kulli shayin wahuwa yujeeru wala yujaru AAalayhi in kuntum taAAlamoon(a) Say you-SW: In whose hand is the sovereignty of everything and Who protects all, but against Whom there is no protector, if you know? (23:88) |
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ فَأَنَّى تُسْحَرُونَ Sayaqooloona lillahi qul faanna tusharoon(a) They will certainly say: Allah-SWT’s. Say you-SW: How then are you turned away? (23:89) |
بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُم بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ Bal ataynahum bi(a)lhaqqi wainnahum lakathiboon(a) Aye! We-SWT have brought them the truth, and verily they are the liars. (23:90) |
Ma ittakhatha Allahu min waladin wama kana maAAahu min ilahin ithan lathahaba kullu ilahin bima khalaqa walaAAala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin subhana Allahi AAamma yasifoon(a) Allah-SWT has not taken to Himself any son, and there is no god along with Him-SWT , else each god would have gone off with what he had created and one of them would have exalted himself above others. Hallowed be Allah-SWT above what they describe. (23:91) |
عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ AAalimi alghaybi wa(al)shshahadati fataAAala AAamma yushrikoon(a) Knower of the unseen and the seen. Exalted is He-SWT above what they associate. (23:92) |
